Cherish was founded in 2005 by Wendy Watson. Prior to starting her own care company, Wendy worked in various different industries and has a wealth of experience in setting up and running businesses. She saw an opportunity to make a difference in people’s lives by providing high quality, person-centred care.
Since then, the company has grown from its humble roots as a home care provider in Blackpool and now has several offices across the north west of England. Experience and expertise allowed Wendy and her husband Peter to diversify the business and Cherish is now a group of companies, all of which have care at their heart.
Alongside Home Care, Cherish operate a successful Supported Living service, a Reablement service for people coming out of hospital, as well as therapy-led Children’s homes for Looked After Children.
